RHS Boy's Soccer Family is proud to announce that Jasmin Sumic, Head Varsity Soccer Coach of Roosevelt Boy's Soccer, was recognized at the SFSA Banquet November 18th, 2008. Jasmin Sumic received the award for SFSA 2008 Boy's U19, High school JV, and High school Varsity Coach of the Year. He also won the overall award for SFSA 2008 boy's Coach of the Year.
Jasmin is in his second year of coaching the RHS Boys Varsity team. Prior to that he was the head Girl's Varsity coach at West Central for four years and has also coached a club soccer team for seven years. In addition to coaching, Jasmin played professional soccer in Europe for twelve years and played nine games with the U-17 National Team - Croatia. Besides being an outstanding Club and High School coach for both boys and girls, he is a National "D" license coach.
The Rough Rider's Boy's Soccer team is extremely lucky to have such a dedicated, knowledgeable, experienced coach who demands and teaches integrity and respect to our children.
